Jayden Bindig and his Wadena based curling foursome begin their quest for a provincial junior curling championship on Wednesday.

Bindig's foursome consists of Nathen Pomedli and Ethan Nygaard, as well as Humboldt's Braden Fleischhacker, who plays second on the team.

In November, the team became the first to qualify for provincials, going unbeaten at a qualifying spiel in Regina.

Their first game is 8:00pm on Wednesday against Kronau's Brecklin Gervais.

From there, Bindig meets Brayden Stewart of Saskatoon on Thursday. Two games on Friday will see the foursome take on Travis Tokarz and Daymond Bernath - both of Saskatoon.

The round robin concludes on Saturday with one game against Shawn Vereschagin, who also is from the Bridge City.

Playoffs begin Saturday afternoon with a champion being crowned Sunday.

Winners will represent the province at Nationals, to be held January 13-21 in Quebec.
