Humboldt defenseman Noah Barlage is among those highlighted for his play at the SaskFirst Bantam Tournament during the holidays.

Barlage was one of 80 players chosen to participate in the upcoming SaskFirst tournament in April.

The Saskatchewan Hockey Association says that the tournament is another opportunity for players to better prepare for future hockey aspirations, giving them a chance to play against equally matched players.

Barlage's team won the December tournament in Regina.

The 14-year-old is in his second year of Bantam hockey for the AA Broncos, and has 10 goals and 17 assists for 27 points over 21 games played this season.

His older brother Logan also made some news on Tuesday. Logan, a forward in the Western Hockey League, was traded from the Swift Current Broncos to the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
