Humboldt is the home to playoffs in the North Central Baseball and Softball Leagues on Saturday and Sunday.

In Bantam, the Dodgers are hosting four teams to crown the champion of the league.

As the top seed, Humboldt awaits the winner of a play-in game between Quill Lake and Watrous. They will play that game at 12:30pm. The first game of the day is slated for 10:00am and will be between Lanigan and Wynyard.

Winners of the two semi-finals will meet at 5:30pm to crown the league champion. Semi-final losers will play for third place at 3:00pm.

All games will take place at Diamond 3.

On Sunday, softball players take over the diamonds, as four tournaments will be held at the same time.

A total of 24 teams will play in Bantam/Midget, Peewee, Squirt and Mite divisions with games beginning at 9:00am. Championship games are slated for 5:00pm.

Games will be played on all diamonds at Centennial Park (2-6) as well as one game in Mite at Bill Brecht Park at 1:00pm.
