The regular season is in the books for the Bantam AA Humboldt Broncos.

Ending the regular year on a winning note, Humboldt defeated Martensville 7-2 on Saturday.

Kaiden Korolchuk lit up the scoresheet, scoring four goals and adding one assist. Jackson Mark had two goals, while Luke Stadnyk had the remaining tally.

The win saw Humboldt end the season with a record of 22-7-2 and 46 points, placing them fourth in the SBAAHL's North Division.

While they have a bye for the first round of playoffs as a top five seed, their opponent for round two is already known.

The Broncos will take on the Saskatoon Generals in their first playoff series. Humboldt was quite successful in the two regular season games, winning both while outscoring Saskatoon 12-6.

No playoff dates have been set as of yet.
