For the second time in four days, the Bantam AA Humboldt Broncos are off to the next round of playoffs.

The Broncos scored the first four goals on Tuesday night, going on to a 5-3 win over the Saskatoon Generals.

Following a successful appeal by Saskatoon of what they felt were biased officials in Game 1 of the series, the game had to be replayed.

Humboldt had won Game 1 at home, 7-4.

New referees didn't make a difference for the undisciplined Generals, who were shorthanded 10 times in the game, allowing a pair of power play goals.

Jackson Mark got the scoring started late in the first period to give Humboldt a 1-0 lead through 20 minutes.

The Broncos took a 4-0 lead midway through the second on goals by Austin Berezowski and Easton Ediger, who scored the third and fourth goals for Humboldt.

Kaiden Korolchuk added a goal in the third to effectively help put the game away for the Broncos.

Goaltender Brody Ackland had a strong game in net for Humboldt, turning aside 28 shots to help his team to the win.

The Broncos will take on either the Saskatoon Outlaws or West Central Wheat Kings in the next round.
