The Bantam AA Broncos had a three-game road trip this weekend, playing the top three teams in the South Division. The Broncos dropped a close game to the Regina Aces 3-2 Friday night. The Aces scored the go-ahead goal with 1:53 remaining in the third period. Charles Johnston and Matthew Porter scored for the Broncos.

Saturday afternoon the team traveled to Balgonie to take on the Prairie Storm Extreme. This was a tribute game to Adam Herold as his #10 jersey was retired from all Prairie Storm Minor Hockey teams. The ceremony took place prior to the game and the Broncos were asked to be on the ice for the ceremony. When the puck dropped it was all Prairie Storm, as they defeated the Broncos 6-1. Castor Bereziuk scored the lone goal for the Broncos.

Sunday afternoon the Broncos played the Regina Pat Blues who are the top team in the South Division. The Broncos took a two-goal lead on power-play goals by Luke Schlosser & Jackson Allan. After Regina got within one, the Broncos scored a third power-play goal by Ryland Martin to go up 3-1 The Blues then tied it up at three, but the Broncos would go ahead for good with a short-handed goal scored by Tyler Lindal in the third period to win the game 4-3. Dalton Wolfe earned the win in net for the Broncos with 29 saves.

The Broncos head into the Christmas break with an 11-4-1-1 record and sit in third place overall. Next action up for the Bantam AA Broncos is January 5th when they take on the West Central Wheat Kings at the EPA.
