The Bantam AA Broncos picked up 3 out of a possible 4 points this weekend.

The Broncos played host to the Estevan Bruins on Saturday, February 23rd at the Elgar Petersen Arena.  The Broncos trailed 4-3 late in the third period when Ty Sundholm scored his third goal of the game with just 1.9 seconds left to send it into overtime. However, in overtime, the Bruins netted the game-winner just 37 seconds into the extra frame to defeat the Broncos 5-4. Tyler Lindal was the other goalscorer for the Broncos while Trey Kincade made 27 saves in net for the Broncos.

The next day on Sunday morning, the Broncos took on the Regina Monarchs at the Elgar Petersen Arena. Seven different Broncos scored a goal as the Broncos skated away to a 7-6 victory over the Monarchs. McLaren Paulsen picked up the winning goal with 1:05 remaining in the third period. Jackson Allan, Ty Sundholm, Tyler Lindal, Ryland Martin, Matthew Porter, & Brody Mortensen were the Broncos' other goal scorers. Dalton Wolfe earned the victory in net.

The Broncos are currently in fifth place in the North Division with 35 points. They will finish their regular season this upcoming weekend taking on the PA Venice House Pirates on Saturday, March 2nd followed by the league leading Martinsville Marauders on Sunday, March 3rd. Both games will be at the Elgar Petersen Arena.
