The Bantam AA Broncos got back in the win column with a 4-2 defeat of the Saskatoon Generals at Merlis Belsher Place on December 6th.

The Broncos scored 20 seconds apart with goals from McLaren Paulsen & Matthew Porter to take a two-goal lead in the first period. The Generals would strike back, scoring two goals of their own in the second period to tie the game. However, before the middle frame was expired, Brody Mortensen tucked in a shorthanded goal to go ahead 3-2 and Ty Sundholm added an insurance marker late in the second period to grab the two-goal lead back for the Broncos. There was no scoring in the third. Dalton Wolfe stopped 43 of 45 shots faced in net for the win.

The Broncos play two games at home this weekend at EPA. Friday at 7:15pm vs the Notre Dame Hounds and Saturday at 3:45pm vs the Saskatoon Outlaws.
