The Western Financial Group in LeRoy is giving back to the area in a warm way.
At a recent Manager's conference of WFG, they had a working bee and made a number of blankets and now they are giving them to worth while organizations.
Branch Manager Heather Block explained their donation, "the balnket idea came from our western communities foundation department that comes up with ideas on how we can give back to communities and how we can give to those in need and so the warm blankets ties in with our winter, certainly, and then being able to find an organization that can make good use of them."
24 handmade blankets were donated to Partners Family Services in Humboldt by the WFG.
Partners Executive Director Rachel Trann says they are happy to receive the blankets.
"Anytime we can get supplies for people in need. We have people who have just walk through our doors who need some support, need some information, maybe dealing with a crisis, or just some people who come in for mom's n tot's who you notice maybe don't have enough warm clothes for their kids and stuff like that, so it's always great to have stuff on hand."
Partners says they always need house hold items for their clients, especially in the winter season.
