Sylvia “Sally” Indzeoski
October 31, 1936 - November 2, 2018

 

Sally (nee Kushnier) Indzeoski of Humboldt, SK. passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2018 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was 82 years of age. She is survived by her loving family which she cherished with all her heart and soul: Terry and Lois of Humboldt and family, Madison (John) Bennett, Lyndon
(fiancé Danielle Heidinger), Mitchell (Sarah); Marcia of Saskatoon; Greg and Brenda of Regina and family, Jane and Kate; Karen and Grant of North Battleford. Sally is also survived by her half sister Anne (Sylvester) Matalski and sister-in-law Margaret Kushnier. She was predeceased by her husband John Indzeoski; parents Fred and Katherine (nee Borysko) Kushnier; half- brothers Mike Kushnier, John Kushnier, and brother-in-law Stanley Kaminski. Sally had a big heart, a great sense of humour and enjoyed life. She always found time to enjoy family and friends and made them feel welcome. She loved card games, bingo, puzzles, music, laughter and dancing. Sally was a loving supportive Wife, Mother and Baba who dedicated her life to raising her four children. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren who all love her very much. She treasured time with family and friends throughout her life and recently with new and old friends at Caleb Village in Humboldt. A Prayer Service was held at Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., presided by Nestor Trach with organist Dolores Hinz. Scripture Readers were Karen Indzeoski and Greg Indzeoski. A Funeral Mass was offered at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, Humboldt, SK on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., celebrated by Fr. Joseph Salihu. Others taking part were: John Kushnier, crossbearer; Marcia Indzeoski and Brenda Indzeoski, scripture readers; John Bennett, intentions; Terry and Lois Indzeoski, giftbearers; Loretta Schugmann as director with organist Dolores Hinz and members of St. Augustine Parish Funeral Choir, music ministry. Honorary pallbearers were “All those who shared in Sally’s life.” Active pallbearers were John Bennett, Madison Bennett, Lyndon Indzeoski, Mitchell Indzeoski, Jane Indzeoski and Kate Indzeoski. Interment followed at All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Humboldt. Memorial Donations may be directed to the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation General Equipment Fund or Spiritual Care Endowment Fund
