Rhonda Rae Elke
April 8, 1967 – January 30, 2018

The passing of Rhonda Rae Elke (Smorodin) of Jansen occurred peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 following a long battle with M.S. She was surrounded by her family and friends during her final days at the Watrous District Health Complex. Rhonda leaves behind her husband, of nearly 25 years Bruce; son – Jordan (Shelby) and their children Kash and Blayke; daughter – Charlie and son Dylan; mother Joan (Don) Harding; brother Jason (Laura) Lindgren and their children Aaron (Jake) Smorodin-McQueen and Delaney (Tyler) Mclean; step-brothers – Allan (Melissa) Harding and Colby, Ella and Ryan, Warren (Kim) Harding and Emily. Also surviving are mother-in-law Eva Elke (Al Shumaker); sisters-in-law Donna-Lee (Ken), Roxanne (Dean), Jo-Ann (Steve) and brothers-in-law Grant (Nadine) and Nathan (Laura) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rhonda was predeceased by her father Paul Smorodin, father-in-law Ervin Elke and maternal and paternal grandparents. The Funeral Service will take place at Zion Lutheran Church, Jansen, SK on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Jansen Cemetery at a later date.
