Regina Urban
June 26, 1933 - April 11, 2016

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Regina (nee Suer) Urban of Bruno, SK, announce her passing at Humboldt District Hospital, Humboldt, SK, on Monday, April 11, 2016, at the age of 82.  Regina will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Leo Urban; two brothers: Ted (Rosemarie) Suer, and Roman (Marion) Suer; sister-in-law, Joanie Urban; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Mary (nee Ilg) Suer; her mother-and-father-in-law, John and Elizabeth (nee Holfels) Urban; and numerous brothers-and-sisters-in-law.  Regina was a kind and compassionate soul who will be remembered for her devotion to family, love of animals, and passion for sports.  She was an active community member in Bruno and she did not hesitate to give of herself to help others. Regina and her husband Leo owned and operated Bruno Motors from 1955 to 2014, where she and Leo worked together.  Regina was known for her compassionate heart; she rescued numerous animals and took them into her home. Her dog, Fifi, has undoubtedly been waiting “on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge” to see her again.  The sound of Regina’s laughter will be missed by those who loved her.

We watched you suffer,
We watched you sigh,
But all we could do
Was just stand by.
When the time came
We suffered too,
For you never deserved
What you went through.
God took your hand
And we had to part,
He eased your pain
But He broke our hearts.
If you could have spoken
Just before you died,
There are the words
You would have replied:
“This life for me has truly passed,
I have loved you all till the very last.
Weep not for me but courage take
And love one another for my sake.”

“May you rest in comfort, Regina.”

The Funeral Mass was offered at St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, Bruno, on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., celebrated by Fr.
