Nina Marie Brouillette
June 19, 1937 – May 13, 2017

The unexpected death of Mrs. Nina Marie (nee Paquin) Brouillette of Watson, SK, occurred at her residence on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the age of 79. Nina was born to Jules and Antoinette (nee Harel) Paquin on June 19, 1937, in La Broquerie, MB. She married Adrien Brouillette in 1955, and afterward was blessed with three sons. Nina enjoyed knitting, playing bingo, bowling, volunteering, her membership with the CWL, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a great mother, amazing grandmother, incredible great-grandmother, and a friend who will be sorely missed. Nina is survived by her three children and their families: EMERY (Diane) Brouillette of BC, Jennifer Gazandlare, daughter Desiree and son Adrian, Erica Thompson and son André, and Samantha Brouillette; RAYMOND Brouillette of Watson SK, Dawn Binsfeld and sons Ryder and Maddox, Emery (Jill) Brouillette and step-sons Rhett and Ryker, Daniel (Laura) Brouillette daughters Parker and Alexis and son Flynn, Jenni Brouillette and her son Jayce; HECTOR Brouillette of Sidney, BC, and daughter Maddison Brouillette; her brothers and sisters: Ronald, Hector (Shirley), Annette, Cecile, and Alice (Dave); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Adrien Brouillette; parents Jules and Annette Paquin; brothers: Joseph, Ted, Peter, and Phil; sisters: Jeannette, Bernice, Bertha, and Diane; daughter-in-law, Lorraine; and her granddaughter Nina. The Funeral Mass was offered at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Watson, on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., celebrated by Fr. Francis Akomeah. Others taking part were: Ryder Binsfeld and Rhett Sterner, crossbearers; Fern Spizawka and Laura Brouillette, scripture readers; Jenni Brouillette, intentions; Emery Brouillette and Ryker Sterner, giftbearers; Dawn Binsfeld, eulogist; Daniel Brouillette and Raymond Brouillette, urnbearers. Honorary pallbearers were “All those who shared in Nina’s life.” Interment followed at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Watson Care-A-Van.
