Dixie Diamond Bell was born on February 2, 2016 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon to Chris Bell and Traci German.  Although born at just 24 weeks, she was a fighter and was growing and developing her own personality.  In her short time here, she was already lovingly being called a Princess, Drama Queen and Diva.  She gave the nurses in the NICU a run for their money, letting them know when she needed something or wasn’t happy.  She was her daddy’s little “Dixie Cup”.  Dixie will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Chris and Traci, sister, Elisabeth and brother, Beckett, of Lanigan; grandparents:  Karen German of Lanigan, Linda Birmingham of Amboy, NY and Gary & Lydia Bell of New York; aunts, uncles and cousins:  Amber German (Ryan Currie) and children Katheryn and Chayton of Humboldt, Trevor German of Lanigan, Hayley German of Regina, Jeff (Sonja) Bell and children Daniel, Naomi and Sophia of Pennsylvania, Cassie Bell of Arizona, Courtney Bell and daughter Jaslyn-Beth of New York and Kenneth James Birmingham III of New York; as well as numerous great grandparents.  Dixie was predeceased by her grandfathers, Bill German and Kenneth James Birmingham Jr.  The Prayer Service for Dixie was held on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Lanigan officiated by Laura Novecosky.  A Private Family Funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 28 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, celebrated by Fr.
