Much of the province got a dose of rain, and snow, overnight last night, leading to some less than ideal driving conditions as temperatures plummeted.

This morning, the Highway Hotline is reporting travel is not recommended on a number of highways in the province, including the TransCanada from border to border.

In the Humboldt area, most highways are showing that winter driving conditions exist, but many of the highways to the west and south are showing travel not recommended, especially the closer you get to the Regina area, or near Highway 11.

Highways that are impacted by the weather conditions this morning throughout the province include the Regina Bypass, Highway 11 from Regina to Davidson, a number of highways in the Weyburn, Estevan, Swift Current and Moose Jaw areas.
