Stormy weather dominated our skies for most of the week. Reports of funnel clouds, hail and strong winds came from all around our local area.

Listener Randall Huculiak sent in this picture of the hail in his back yard.

Powerful winds also knocked out power to a few farms west of Watson for seven hours, including the farm of listener Lucinda Wilger, who had this to say about the crews fixing the outtage.

"These crews are working like champions to make sure we can keep our power on. Our pole went down in the slough from the wind yesterday and they got our power back overnight. I am really impressed that after a day like yesterday these crews are back and thinning trees in the rain to improve our power access."

When asked who else was affected, Lucinda said "Our neighbours too but we are on a short line and therefore low priority but they still got it done even though outages were everywhere yesterday."

It seems the stormy weather is past us for now, so get out and enjoy this weekend before it comes back!
