99 bottles to find and return, 99 bottles to find. Pick one up, return it for cash. One less bottle winds up in the trash.

Watson School's Girls' Volleyball team found and returned well over 99 bottles as they brought their haul from a bottle drive into SARCAN on Monday, June 17th.

"It was all collected from Watson. The girls went around and picked them all up. We don't have the exact number that was collected, but there was a huge pile. The lady at SARCAN said it was for sure over $500 worth," said Melissa Schoettler with Watson School.

The bottle drive was organized to provide new jerseys for the girls' volleyball team next year.

By the number collected, it seems Watson School's Girls' Volleyball team not only secured new jerseys but saved countless recyclables from ending up in the trash.
