It's not too often we get to see 3 on 3 hockey, let alone an entire tournament.

Wadena held a 3 on 3 hockey tournament this past weekend.

Players came from far and wide for the novice and atom division event.

The cost was 25 dollars per player, and there were 6 teams in total.

There was a round robin, and an A, B AND C final.

Approximately 60 kids signed up, crowd total was about 200.

Chad Glasser was one of the head organizers of the tournament.

He said that the proceeds will go towards some new accommodations in the Wadena rink.

"The proceeds will be going towards our rink." Glasser stated.

"We are hoping to add some change rooms to accommodate more, and larger tournaments like this."

The plan is to make this an annual event in the community of Wadena.
