Kaylie Nemeth had a scare of a lifetime while driving home from the lake on Sunday.

Nemeth and her two and half month old son, Emerson, were driving on the highway when the siren came on the radio and alerted them to a potential tornado in the area.

They tried to take coverage in a farm yard, but no one was home.

A local farmer stopped to help them and drove them to safety.

This man was unknown to the family and was a hero in this situation.

Nemeth wants the public to know that people out there will help out in times of need.
