It's almost been an entire year since COVID-19 has impacted our lives.

With social distancing and less physical interaction taking place, we have turned to movies and TV shows to keep us busy. I asked listeners on Thursday, what are some of your favourite shows and movies that have got you through this pandemic?

"I've watched so many documentaries about murders, mysteries, scandals, etc. LA 92, The Keepers, and Trial 4 are just a few of them," commented Christin Matalski on the 107.5 Bolt FM Facebook page.

The pandemic may have forced you to find new shows and movies to watch, ones you would never have watched when life was normal and you didn't have a lot of time on your hands.

"I decided to see what Hell on Wheels was all about. I started watching it and couldn’t stop," said LeeAnn Schreiner.

However, as the pandemic came to fruition, not everyone had more time on their hands. Some people even got busier at work because of COVID-19 which has prevented them from even turning the TV on.

"We've been just trying to keep everything on the ground this year. I only took one day off last year and I hope one of these days I can crawl into a comfy bed and watch TV for 24 hours," said caller, Tawnie Johnson.

As for myself, I've been rewatching a lot of Star Wars and actually took on CSI which is something new that I've enjoyed.

Hopefully sooner rather than later you can decide where to go on a night out rather than choosing what to watch.
