Farmers will be out checking crops for hail damage after the active weather on Sunday.

Environment Canada reports hail the size of tennis balls at Bengough.

Badgerville, Crane Valley, Ormiston, Spring Valley, and Glen Ewen had golf ball sized hail, while toonie-sized hail hit Lampman and Tobin Lake.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Terri Lang says some areas also picked up some decent rainfall Sceptre reported about 46 millimetres of rain, while Weyburn picked up 25 and Limerick 20.5

There was also a possible tornado near Mossbank, she notes, there’s lots of photographic evidence but they haven’t received any reports of damage.

She says the Southeast corner of the Province could see some heavier rain in the next couple of days and then more active weather for later in the week.
