The St. Peter’s Chorus has been preparing for some upcoming shows soon to hit the stage.

“It’s an Advent concert, so we will have some music of the season as well as some familiar Christmas songs. We are also doing some Christmas songs in Ukrainian and German. It’s going to be a nice little variety of music of the season and getting preparations for Christmas,” says Maxine Moore, director of the St. Peter’s Chorus.

On December 9, the Chorus will perform in Lanigan and then take the show to Humboldt on December 11. Proceeds from the concerts will go towards Doctors without Borders.

“We think Choral music is something that brings people together. Our members range from 13 to over 80 and we represent over 11 communities, including Humboldt. We have a big area that is trying to keep that mission going.”

Those who want to grab some tickets, can stop by Shoppers, talk to Choir members, or purchase at the door.

“This is a great way to get settled into the Christmas system. It’s just so nice to see everybody of all ages enjoying the music.”
