A recent sighting of a missing individual has provided police with clues but no whereabouts for a missing individual.

Southey RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance to help locate 35-year-old Joel Campbell of Standing Buffalo First Nation.

Joel has not been in contact with family since the evening of Wednesday, April 5 when he advised he was in the Southey area. It is uncommon for him to be out of contact with family for so long. Police have been in contact with the individual who provided Joel a ride on April 5, 2023. He was last seen near the intersection of Highway #22 and Highway #6 on April 5 around 7:30 p.m., walking eastbound on Highway #22.

Joel is described as being 5’ 8” tall, 170 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater, toque and sweatpants. Joel also has connections to Fort Qu’appelle, but it is unknown if he is in the community.

Joel is wanted for being unlawfully at large, but the primary search interest is to locate him and confirm his well being. RCMP asks the public not to approach him and contact police if you see him or know of his whereabouts.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Joel, please contact Southey RCMP at 306-726-5230, 911 or 310-RCMP.
