The Saskatchewan NDP announced Trina Miller as its candidate in Batoche for the next provincial election.

“I am honoured to be the Saskatchewan NDP candidate here in Batoche,” said Miller. “Rural Saskatchewan has so much to offer and so much potential. Batoche needs an MLA and a government that will make life more affordable, address the rural healthcare crisis, and ensure a brighter future for Saskatchewan families.”

The NDP says Miller is a postal worker and a former school board trustee with the Prairie Spirit Spirit School Division.

“She is an active member of her community, serving on numerous boards and committees. Trina is dedicated to ensuring the best for her family and for everyone in Saskatchewan,” stated the NDP in a release.

“I am so happy to have an experienced leader like Trina here in Batoche,” said Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck. “I know that Batoche will be very well served having Trina as their MLA.”

The NDP says that Miller is the thirty-third candidate nominated for the Saskatchewan NDP. The next nomination for the Saskatchewan NDP will be a contested nomination in the constituency of Regina University on Thursday, March 21.
