The Rosebud Royals Association now has a third team competing in league play this season.

The U13 version of the Royals Association has entered the Rawlings Saskatchewan Grand Slam Boys Softball League.  Last year the same boys entered one tournament and Provincials in the under twelve age group as a trial run for the program.  Now with Softball Saskatchewan and Canada altering their age groups, the same group is entering the province-wide U13 league and committed to the four-weekend league.

The team has been running indoor training sessions all winter and is excited to start the outdoor season May 14-15 with their first league day in Prince Albert. The team aspires to qualify and return to Prince Albert for the July 30th - August 1st Western Canadians.

The Men’s version of the Royals has been around since 1970 and is hosting its 50th Anniversary July 1-2, which has been delayed two years due to COVID.  The Men play in the Richardson Pioneer Men’s Fastball League, while the Rosebud Junior Royals (U20) play in the Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association, with most of their players now in post-secondary in Saskatoon.
