Richard Albert Kiedrowski
September 5, 1941- September 16, 2022

Richard was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan to John Jr. and Elizabeth (née Doyscher) Kiedrowski. He grew up on the family farm east of Lake Lenore, SK, and attended Schuler School. All his adult life Richard was enthusiastic about farming, wood working and all things John Deere - having amassed an impressive collection of vintage tractors that he restored. He was married to Linda Folden on November 6, 1971, and they farmed on the Kiedrowski homestead, raising two sons, Harvey, and Ryan. Richard was a long-time member of the Lake Lenore Lions Club, the Credit Union Board, a 4-H General Leader, and the Knights of Columbus. He devoted many hours to enhancing the quality of life in his community and was well known for his work ethic, his generosity, patience, and kind heart. Very inventive, he built numerous wonders of engineering that are still in use today around the farm. Richard and Linda retired to Humboldt, while Harvey and Kim maintained operations on the family farm. The only difference in his retirement was adding the drive from Humboldt to Lake Lenore to keep on farming! Together the couple enjoyed travelling, be it a road trip to Moose Jaw or visiting a southern climate. Left to remember his light are his wife of 50 years, Linda; son Harvey (Kim), and their children Taylor and Dalton; son Ryan and his children Aleta, Tayah, Jack, and Olivia; and his sister Betty Knittig (Earl Kerr). He was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth (née Doyscher) Kiedrowski, and brother William Kiedrowski.
