During Saskatchewan Library Week and coincidentally education Week. (Oct 19th-Oct 23rd) The folks at the Humboldt Reid Thompson Public Library wanted recognize the last 50 years as Humboldt's own library along with their Wapiti Branch. Doors opened to the celebration at 6:00pm; there was cake to kick off the celebration. Some of the Dignitaries were Humboldt Mayor Malcolm Eaton sharing a few words; past Humboldt Librarians visited the event along with the Humboldt Library C.E.O from Prince Albert and a reading with Author Candace Savage.
