The painting workshop held on Wednesday was for youth aged 12-17.
The workshop introduced the basics of colour and composition in creating an acrylic painting on canvas.
The Humboldt and District Art Gallery wanted to introduce people to their new youth art gallery memberships, which cost $15 or $20 if you’re over 18. The point of these memberships is for people to get into more of events like the painting workshop for free, and to have their own artwork displayed or to get the chance to sell their artwork.
There were many lovely paintings that were coming to life! Lots of beautiful oranges, yellows and greens were being used. There were paintings of trees, food, barns, and more!
