The 13U Muenster Red Sox won the 13U AA Tier 3 Provincial Championship this weekend in Cudworth.  

In the gold medal game, Muenster defeated the Macklin Lakers 12-11.  

The Red Sox went undefeated in the tournament. They beat the Regina White Sox on Friday, 22-11. 

On Saturday, they defeated the Holdfast Knights 9-2 and picked up a 13-12 victory over Macklin. 

In the semifinal on Sunday, Muenster beat the host Cudworth Cyclones 9-4.

Naicam Vikings earn silver medals

The 13U Naicam Vikings finished second at the 13U AA Tier 7 Provincial Championships in Saskatoon.  

In the Gold Medal game, Naicam lost to the Outlook Riverhawks 8-6.  

The Vikings were perfect in the round robin, beating the Saskatoon Rockhound A’s 14-1 on Friday. 

On Saturday they beat the Saskatoon Brave Blazers 15-2 and a 17-16 win over Outlook.  

In the semifinal on Sunday, the Vikings beat the Blue Jay Bananas 8-4.

Lanigan Pirates finish second

The 13U Lanigan Pirates earned a silver medal at the 13U AA Tier 8 Provincial Championships in Melfort. 

They were defeated by the host Melfort Mustangs in the Gold Medal Game 16-11.  

During the round robin, the Pirates beat the Sask Five Outlaws 7-2 on Friday.  

They split their two games on Saturday, losing the Gull Lake Greyhounds 8-4 and picking up an 11-9 win over the Swift Current 57’s. 

In the semifinal on Sunday, the Pirates beat the Rosetown Angels 15-12.
