On Sunday, August 14, 2022, Leo Urban of Bruno, SK, passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. He was 92 years of age. Leo was born to John and Elizabeth (née Holfels) Urban on June 5, 1930, at Bruno. After high school, Leo took a Chicago Vocational Diesel course and completed his apprenticeship in 1952. Leo and Regina owned and operated Bruno Motors for 59 years, from 1955 to 2014, selling Chev, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick vehicles throughout Saskatchewan and beyond. Leo was an avid businessman and community-minded person. He also loved farming, the land, the Urban homestead, and animals. As well, Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling, playing baseball with the Fulda Flyers, and other sports. He will be fondly remembered as a devoted, family-orientated man, and how he and Regina always lovingly helped family members and anyone else who needed a caring hand. Leo is survived by his brother-and-sister-in-law, Roman (Marion) Suer, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Regina (née Suer) Urban; his parents, John and Elizabeth (née Holfels) Urban; all his siblings: Mary Hoffman, Annie Roettger, Veronica Cimpric, Helen Samenuk, Josephine Laszlo, Joan Urban, Rita Probasco, Roman Urban, John Urban, Clara Boyer, and Mildred Urban; and by in-laws: Joe Laszlo, Tim Probasco, Mary Urban, Victor Boyer, Charlie Hoffman, Johnny Roettger, Walter Savinkoff, Carl Cimpric, and Ray Samenuk.
