This morning I asked listeners which smartphone operating system they prefer: iPhone or Android. To my surprise, the overwhelming majority sided with Google's mobile operating system.

Some listeners prefer old fashion methods of communication. Andrew Harris said "rotary" while Sheldon Logan said "string and cans."

Other than that, almost everyone on Facebook sided with me on Android being the superior option. Cherie Lummerding Archer said "Android is way more compatible. With iPhones, everything else has to be Apple. Very limited!"

That is one of my favourite things about Android, you have more freedom.

Jennifer Possberg was the lone wolf when it comes to iPhones being the superior device.

"Androids don’t get system updates unless you have the newest handset. Can’t stand the Samsung OS or touch wiz whatever you call it. Android seems to have lots of backdoors hackers can take advantage of. Apple has had all the good apps. iOS works smoothly. Though Siri is still stupid. Would never get an Android. I have used both and apple works much better."

Although I personally love Android, the one thing I don't get is that the Android logo isn't actually an android.
