Camping is yet again one of the few activities that will be available for this summer.
The Humboldt Campgrounds, along with the mini-golf course has plans to open sometime before the May long weekend. Before the gates open, some minor work has to be done to prepare the campsites for the season.
"We're just going to make sure all the picnic tables are in good shape, paint anything that needs to be painted, and clear out some trees before the wind knocks them down this summer," said Brent Fitzpatrick, Executive Director of the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce.
The price of booking a campsite has not changed. Non-electric sites are going for a nightly rate of $25, while 30 amp sites are $33 a night, and 50 amp sites are $37 a night. People can book a site or a mini-golf session by calling 306-682-4990 or email admin@humboldtchamber.ca.
