Humboldt Broncos goaltender Jared Picklyk has been charged with refusal to comply with a breath screening following an incident in Humboldt early Saturday morning.

Provincial RCMP report that local RCMP received a call at around 1:25 am Saturday morning. They arrived to find a pickup truck driven by Picklyk had left the roadway and struck a house on 12th Ave.

The incident occurred following the Broncos win over Nipawin in game five of their playoff round.

The SJHL has suspended Picklyk indefinitely. Both the SJHL and the Broncos issued a statement that they would not comment further on the matter.

Picklyk will appear in Humboldt Provincial Court on May 8.
