Hudson Charles Mutimer
November 8, 2010 – August 1, 2022

Hudson was born to Wade and Haley (née Hallberg) Mutimer in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He heroically battled Rhabdomyosarcoma for nearly three years, yet never let cancer define him. He was a boy full of optimism and strength. His legacy will be how he pulled on the heartstrings of everyone he came in contact with. Hudson’s passion was hockey, swimming, and cards, and he adored his sisters, cousins, and buddies. To Hudson, his pet salamander “Gary” and his Husky dog “Digger” were the icing on the cake. Hudson will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Wade and Haley (née Hallberg) Mutimer, and sisters Ayla and Gracelyn of Humboldt, SK; maternal grandparents Chuck and Faye Hallberg, of Biggar, SK; paternal grandfather Dale Mutimer, of Arborfield, SK; and uncles and aunts: Candice Mutimer and daughter Carissa (Patrick) Carpentier, Stacey Mutimer, Lance (Dana) Mutimer, Wes (Chrystan) Mutimer, Ben Hallberg, Shayna Hallberg, and Lesley Ann (Reid) Etter. Hudson is survived by 17 cousins and was predeceased by paternal grandmother Rita Mutimer. Hudson had the greatest of lives; never complaining and always cheerful. He garnered a ton of support from a diverse amount of people: Nutrien Potash Lanigan, HERO Kinsman Foundation, family, friends, neighbors, and both local and professional hockey players. Hudson always thanked the many medical workers at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon, and Humboldt District Hospital that cared for him. He made it a priority to thank God for everything that came his way. Donations in Hudson’s memory may be directed to the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada, (2 St. Clair Ave. West, 18th Floor, Toronto, ON, M4V 1L5).
