Last night, the local community came together to celebrate and appreciate the hard work of our farmers at the Farmer Appreciation Night. Over 150 farmers attended the event, which was filled with delicious food, exciting prizes, and plenty of opportunities for socializing.

The night began with a warm welcome from Brian Kusch, Station Manager of Bolt FM, who expressed gratitude for the dedication and hard work of the local farmers. This was followed by a delicious buffet of locally made food from Rookies Restaurant. The farmers were able to sit and enjoy the meal while chatting with one another and catching up with old friends.

As the evening progressed, the farmers were treated to a variety of prizes donated by local businesses. One of the highlights of the night was a video interview from the one and only, Quick Dick McDick. QDM joined morning show host Sarah Miller to talk about farming and the thanks that farmers receive, of course there were some funny jokes as well.

The Farmer Appreciation Night was a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and show their appreciation for the tireless work of our farmers. It was heartwarming to see so many people come out to celebrate and support the backbone of our local economy.

As the night ended, one lucky winner walked away with two tickets to the Shania Twain Queen of Me tour in Saskatoon in November. Other large prizes included a Hergott Farm Equipment fire pit, heated camp chairs, and a cooler.

The farmers left with smiles on their faces and bellies filled with great food. We hope they know their work is appreciated and valued by the community. We look forward to next year's event and continue to support and celebrate our hardworking farmers.
