Fall or autumn, whichever you prefer, is typically the season of change. Children go back to school, the fields are finished, farmers prepare for winter, families start to get more time together, and people look to keep busy during the winter. If that means hockey, curling, dance, reading clubs, or other events; fall seems to be the season of change and maybe new hobbies. I always have enjoyed fall, no more bugs, the temperatures allow you to dress in layers, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a book outside without getting a sunburn, and the wind seems to be less aggressive. This year fall is a sign of a few different things for me and for the city of Humboldt. With the new Broncos hockey team, and a lot of new faces in the city, and of course those that are gone, it can cause some heavy emotions. I personally have decided that this fall I needed to find a new hobby, something to keep me busy. I signed up for adult tap dance but that's another blog for another time. I hope that with the changing of seasons and the new changes around us we can stop and breathe and remember things will get easier, we always have each other and we are all in this together. #humboldtstrong
