Since Bolt FM's inception in October of 2011 and my relocation to the City of Humboldt automatically many comments came my way such as, you are going to love covering sports in this town and area!

We've talked about it many times, and like most Saskatchewan communities who have a hockey player or two that's made the National Hockey League or some other pro level, but man oh man it's more than hockey here isn't it?

Of course there is hockey royalty with Mr. Glenn Hall and Brad Lauer, Brendan Witt, Lanigan's Sheldon and Wade Brookbank, Watson's Dustin Tokarski, Nathan Paetsch out of LeRoy. The others though, Brianne Theisen-Eaton, Lyndon Rush, Robbie and Rusty Malinoski, Cole Bauml etc, etc etc. I'm sure I've missed some and I apologize.

My point is when you have any chance to get these people on the radio it's a lot of fun and Monday will be no different, we will be joined by Humboldt hoopster Paige Crozon who recently completed her career at Utah in the NCAA and signed a pro deal overseas. The Humboldt Collegiate Institute grad is one for the list above even at her young age, I mean for a Canadian kid from Humboldt to find the eyes of a major US university is an accomplishment itself but Paige thrived, even after battling early injuries.

We want to throw it out to Humboldt and the area, what do you want to know about Paige and her career? Call 306-682-0107 Monday between 9-10am.

If your curious to how it works, check it out when Brianne visited the studio after her second Olympics, or maybe when budding NHL star and World Junior silver medalist Connor Ingram of Watrous stopped by earlier this year.

You can also email your questions to humboldtnews@goldenwestradio.com and Tyler Bieber will ask Paige for you.

Make sure to tune in!
