To help launch Summer Sizzler 2016 a familiar face is coming back to the community.

Peterborough's Chris Culgin will be making a reappearance in Humboldt

Culgin will begin playing Wednesday night at Civic Park right around 7:00pm just following a 6:00pm BBQ.

Chris plays a variety of music will most of it based in rock and roll, roots, with some cou ntry flavour. Chris played in Humboldt last year and when asked what he thought about the community he had good things to say.  "It was great! Brian Grest got a lot of people to come out, it's becoming a rarity that groups will put in the effort to get people to come out."

Culgin says for folks who come out they will recognize some of his older songs but there will also be some new ones to listen to. " We're touring our new record which just came out, we'll be playing a bunch of new songs that off that records as well favourites from the last two records."

The band has played here before but Culgin said it was an easy decision to come back, "Bands tour all the time and you end up playing with them, somebody has a good time somewehere and they tell everybody else. I've sent a few bands to Brian."
