Kids looking for a new aquatic sport to try can learn about water polo as the Humboldt Stingrays get set to launch. An introduction to try out the sport will be held at the Humboldt Aquatic Centre on January 11 and January 14 from 5 – 6 pm.

Practices will be held Thursdays and Sundays from 5 – 6 pm at the Aquatic Centre. The team will be competing in the Saskatchewan Water Polo League with tournaments on January 28 in Estevan, March 1 – 3 in Regian, and provincials on March 30 – 31 in Saskatoon.

Practices will be split into two age groups – 6 to 11 years of age, and 12 to 16. It’s a great opportunity for kids of all ages to improve their swimming abilities and get involved in a new sport.

Anyone interested can contact Madison Mueller at (306) 231-9326 or email: humboldtwaterpolo@gmail.com with your child’s name, age and swimming experience.
