Once again 60 minutes wasn't enough for the Humboldt Broncos and the Melville Millionaires. Once again the Broncos found the back of the net in the extra frame, and once again they sit tied on top of the Ag Risk division.

The specialty teams continues to be a blemish as halfway into the first period the powerplay striked for the Millionaires. The goal scored by Damian Bentz to go up 1-0. However, one thing the Brocnos have going for them is resilience. They would cut any momentum the Millionaires may have been trying to gain when Michael Bladon picked up his 1st on the year 33 seconds later.

Scoring wouldn't happen again untill the 18:58 marker into the middle frame when the power play for Melville would capitalize once again. This time scored by Josh Borynec. The Millionaires would take a one gaol lead into the final frame.

The power play went 0-7 for the Broncos but it wasn't needed. A turnover at the red line forced a 2 on 1 odd man rush for the Broncos. Zach McIntyre and Reagan Poncelet excecuted a perfect give and go and McIntyre finished the play to knot the game up at 2 and scoring in back to back games.

In overtime, it took 2:10 seconds before Luke Lonneman forced a turnover which was scooped up by Luke Spadafora. Spadafora would then make a beautiful move around Bentz who was manning the point. Then slid the puck backhand behind Colby Entz for the game winner.

The Broncos snapped a two game losing streak with the victory. They will look to make it two straight tomorrow, on the second half of a home and home against the Millionaires at Elgar Petersen Arena.
