The Humboldt Broncos keep on rolling.

The green and gold won their fourth straight victory, defeating the Kindersley Klippers 7-3 on the road on September 27th.

The Broncos burst out of the gates in the opening two periods. Goals from Tristan Shewchuk and Reid Arnold in the first period gave the Broncos a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes. The pair of goals were followed by four more in the second period courtesy of Shewchuk, Josh Paulhus, Zach Mcintyre, and Bryson Cecconi. Shewchuk stretched his point streak to six games, while Cecconi scored for the fourth straight game. Logan Foster also picked up an assist for his own six-game point streak. The Broncos took a 6-1 lead into the third period.

In the third, Humboldt hammered home an empty netter, provided by the same man who starred the goal scoring in Tristan Shewchuk. This was Shewchuk’s second hattrick in seven games, giving him nine total on the season, the most in the SJHL.

Spencer Weinkauf and Zach McIntyre picked up two assists each. Josh Paulhus also finished the game with two points.

Humboldt’s goalie Michael Harroch stopped 29 of 32 for his second straight victory.

With the win, the Broncos improve to 4-2-0-1 on the season and sit in 2nd place in the Global Ag Risk Solutions Division.

The Broncos will be back in action on October 4th and 5th in a home and home against the Melfort Mustangs.
