The Knight of Columbus cooked up the first mouth-watering breakfast for 2020 on Sunday, January 26. The crowd of hungry patrons bustled in after the 10:00 am opening for the menu of pancakes, sausage patties, eggs and ham, along with a robust cup of coffee.

Dennis Berting was captaining this month’s breakfast with the proceeds heading to the Humboldt Soup Kitchen held at the Gathering Place. He says the cook wagon on wheels was in use for the breakfast and that they would be ready to hit the road again this summer to cook delicious burgers at a variety of area events.

The chefs keep the pancake recipe a closely guarded secret, not even letting on whether the fruit in the flapjacks were saskatoons or blueberries.

It was another well-attended breakfast courtesy of our Knights of Columbus.
