Twenty-one-year-old Tristan Daniel Morrison of Saskatoon made his first court appearance the morning of March 3 in Provincial Court in Saskatoon. Morrison, looking tired, appeared via video.

Morrison’s lawyer, Ian Wagner, requested that the matter be adjourned until Thursday.

Morrison is charged along with Joshua Dominic Canevaro in connection with the disappearance of 20-year-old Allan Douglas Garrioch from a residence in Humboldt. Garrioch had not been seen since the night of his disappearance on February 25.

Morrison is charged with first-degree murder along with a host of other charges after human remains were found near the hamlet of Dana northwest of Humboldt.

Co-accused Canevaro, also a resident of Saskatoon, has a bail hearing set for Thursday, March 4.
