18U AAA Red Sox pitcher Dallen Rude pitched his way through a close opening contest in yesterdays doubleheader with the Regina White Sox at James Korte Field.

Rude went head to head with White Sox pitcher Jory Graves for 5 innings with no score. It wasn't until the bottom of the fifth that a tally went up as Jack Biemans drove in Ryley Sylvestre.

The Red Sox crossed the plate twice in six, and despite a late game rally by the White Sox, the East Central squad walked away with a narrow 3-2 win.

It was another close one in the second game with the Red Sox victorious, again by a one point margin. The teams worked their way to a 3-all tie in the third.
The final and deciding run when Jack Biemans scored on a pitcher error in the 5th to give the Red Sox a 4-3 victory.

The next action for the AAA Red Sox comes this Canada Day as part of the Muenster Elks Canada Day Celebration event at James Korte field. They'll play a double header
against the Parkland Expos.
