Although it wasn't published untill 1917; on May 3rd 1915 (three years before the end of the first world war.) Dr John McCrae, while he himself in the trenches was inspired to write the poem we still recite today known as "In Flanders Field". With Remembrance Day around the corner this will be one of many focuses for Rev. AL Hingley.
