Researchers at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon are conducting a study on farmers suffering from back pain.

The researchers say farmers have higher rates of back pain compared to many other occupations, and they more likely to have a harder time accessing treatment.

The research team is looking to recruit farmers who have experienced back pain for at least three months. Participants will receive two appointments with a physiotherapist who will evaluate their lower back.

Farmers interested in participating in the study should contact study co-ordinator Angelica Lang in Saskatoon at (639) 480-5595 or by email at back.research@usask.ca.
