Sunshine and well-above normal temperatures for the first two weeks of November have allowed more crops in Saskatchewan to be combined following a dismal October.

Shannon Friesen, a crops specialist with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture, says combines have been rolling all over the province.

Friesen estimates about 90 per cent of the provincial crop has been combined, up from 82 percent in the last crop report issued on October 27th.

She says things are going a bit slower in the northeast, where the crops are still very damp.
