The Canadian Federation of Agriculture(CFA) wrapped up its annual general meeting last week in Ottawa.
President Ron Bonnet was re-elected for another term.
He talked about one of the big issues discussed at the AGM.
"Trade naturally was a big issue being discussed. We actually had a presentation from the Parliamentary Assistant to the International Trade Minister on the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement and discussions about the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, they were fairly front and centre about some of the uncertainties out there."
CFA members also elected former Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan President Norm Hall as First-Vice President.
